I forgot where I found this video, but it's time-lapse footage of the sun in the Ultra Violet spectrum. I guess the time span you see here is approximately 25 days (?). My favorite part is the solar flares which are, like, ribbons of liquid hydrogen metal. The reason they take on the shape of the concentric circles is because they're plasma, basically super hot ions of positive electrical charge. When these charges travel through space, they create an electrical field which in turn creates a magnetic field. So these flares behave as a fluid and as electricity and as a magnet. The study of their motion has some specific name that I can't quite remember. Something like Electromagnetohydro dynamics.
