drone alone

Weird synchronicity.  I'm walking to class listening to This American Life, episode 51, which is about animals, when I spot these guys.

I look around to see if anybody else is seeing what I'm seeing.  My little area of campus is oddly deserted, so I go over to talk to them, ask them what they're doing out of bed.  They are friendly but not forthcoming.
Later in the day, I'm thinking about a friend while checking my email.  I find in my inbox a message from that friend waiting for me.

In order to bolster my street cred, I'd just like to say that I had a secret crush on Zach since way back in
2001 when Out Cold came out way before it was cool.  So there.
Also, it seems like he's in every other movie and television channel of late.  Heading into some serious overexposure territory, as in, "I've really enjoyed our time together, but I think we need to take a little break."
